Chris has worked in the insurance agency business since 1978. He holds the CPCU and CIC insurance designations. Chris has been married for over 3 decades and has two children and one grandson. He is the director of the Workers Federal Credit Union and a member of the Vestry of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. He also holds a merchant mariner captains license for up to a 50 ton vessel. |

Jim Oakley jim@howlandsargent.comJim has been in the in the insurance business for the past 21 years. 19 years have been with Howland & Sargent. Jim is the Senior Personal & Commercial Sales Representative and Life/Health Specialist. He currently holds his Ct. Licenses in Property & Casualty and Life & Health. Jim graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Jim sits on the Board of Directors for Opportunity Works Connecticut which helps to support people with developmental and physical disabilities. He is a resident of Somers along with his wife and 2 sons and has been part of the community for the past 19 years. He has been active in youth athletic programs having spent many years coaching Little League baseball and recreational basketball. |

Mary has worked in insurance for over 20 years. She is a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, a Supporter of Educational Resources for Children, and has recently became a grandmother. ”It really is the best!” One of her core beliefs is you have the responsibility and opportunity to make a difference every day. Mina Flebotte mina@howlandsargent.comMina has been employed with Howland & Sargent since 2003. She is currently the Commercial Lines CSR and the Marketing Director for the agency. Upon her return to continue her education, Mina graduated Phi Beta Kappa. She holds her Ct. Property & Casualty Producers License and a CPIA designation, as well as, her Marketing Certificate. Mina is also working on her CIC designation so she can better serve our Commercial insured’s. She is a resident of Somers and sits on the board of The Somers Community Health & Wellness Association. She has been married since 1989 and has 3 sons and 2 step-grandsons. |

Lydia Dusty lydia@howlandsargent.comLydia is a Sr. Personal Lines Customer Service Representative and has been employed with Howland & Sargent since 2003. She started in insurance in 1991; part of that time she owned her own agency until becoming a single parent. She enjoys helping clients to understand what they have for insurance and what is important to protect them from any future problems that may arise. She holds her LUTC Certificate and holds her CPIA designation, as well as, her Ct. Property & Casualty Producers License. She continuously attends continuing education classes to maintain her licenses. ”I can’t think of any other field I would rather be in”. Out of work Lydia enjoys playing tennis and going camping. She still holds a license in Cosmetology. |

Jennifer Kiner jennifer@howlandsargent.comJen has been employed by Howland & Sargent since April 2009 as a Personal Lines Sales Representative. She is committed to high standards of professionalism and superior client service. “My goal is to help protect you, your family and friends with the utmost integrity, respect and with your best interests in mind.” Jen is a lifelong resident of Enfield, CT. She has earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from the University of Connecticut in 2007. She has been licensed in both CT and MA since 2007 and has received the Accredited Advisor in Insurance designation. She is currently working towards the Certified Insurance Counselor designation to better serve her clients. Jen sits on the board of The Enfield Rotary Club, The North Central CT Chamber of Commerce and The Network Against Domestic Abuse and was recognized as the 2011 Volunteer of the Year for the North Central Chamber and 2012 Rotarian of the Year for The Enfield Rotary Club. |
